
How To Use a Thermotex Far Infrared Neck Equine Therapy System
The Thermotex far infrared neck equine therapy system is very effective for treating horse abscesses, phlebitis, hypothermia/shock and muscles strains to the chest. It also allows for easy manipulation of the cervical spine during a chiropractic adjustment.
Please carefully follow the instruction guidelines below for the proper use of your neck equine therapy system.
Step by Step Instruction Guidelines:
- To secure the animal place it in cross ties.
- Remove all neck sweat, liniment or other applied substances before using the neck equine therapy.
- Plug in the neck system and turn the setting to high for a few minutes to pre-warm the appliance before placing on the animal.
- Place the neck equine therapy on the neck of the animal. Position the heating elements where required and secure the appliance in place with the Velcro straps.
- Use the neck appliance on the high setting for the first 10-15 minutes and then turn it to the low setting for the remainder of the therapy session.
- During the entire therapy session, make sure all electrical cords are out of reach of the animal.
- At the conclusion of the equine therapy session, wipe the inside of the neck wrap with a mild disinfectant. Make sure the neck equine therapy is thoroughly dry before storing in a clean dry place.
Important Safety Instructions
- NEVER use the neck system with any liniment, salve or ointment.
- DO NOT leave neck equine therapy unattended when plugged in and check hide under appliance frequently.
- DO NOT immerse neck cover in water unless all electrical pads and the cord have been removed.
- DO NOT hold the neck system in place with pins or other metallic objects.
- NEVER use pads unless the outer cover is in place.
- PERIODICALLY examine the inner cover (white PVC) to make sure it is still in good shape. If inner covering shows any sign of deterioration, return device for repair.
- DO NOT bend or fold the heating element in the neck equine therapy system.
- DO NOT pull the neck by the cord or use it as a handle.
One Year Limited Warranty
WARRANTY: The Company warrants this product, to the original purchaser or gift recipient, to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service, for a period of one year
from the date of purchase.

how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. IN NO EVENT
SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
LOSS OF PROFIT OR MEDICAL EXPENSES CAUSED BY ANY DEFECT, FAILURE, MISUSE, OR
MALFUNCTION OF THE PRODUCT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The Company will not be responsible for
damages or losses, direct or indirect, caused by misuse, abuse, accident, negligence, conditions of
transportation or storage, or failure to follow instruction. The Company will not be responsible for any
statements that are made or published, written or oral, that are inconsistent with this written warranty,
or which are misleading or inconsistent with the facts as published in the literature or specifications
furnished by the Company. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty Claim Procedure: Any product that proves defective within the warranty period will,
transportation charges pre-paid, be repaired or replaced at the option of the Company, free of charge.
